A cry for help from Willie Smits

In this video, a cry for help from Willie Smits in which he asks for your support. He is here on Salimburung Island, one of many Masarang projects where the Government brings birds rescued from smuggling. The birds can no longer fly due to incarceration but get the chance to live and mate in a natural environment created on Salimburung Island. Willie’s team will bring the healthy young birds to the places where they originally belong. It is tough to keep the various projects afloat during the entire COVID-19 crisis. He usually has a lot of help from volunteers and school groups, but that has now completely disappeared. The only income they have right now is from donations.
Can you help Willie?
